Kennebunk Free Library Presentation

Kathi Kearneys presentation at the Kennebunk Free Library

Hanks Room

This Tuesday, June 10

6:30 PM until 7:45 PM

Kathi Kearney will speak about differentiated learning for advanced students in the classroom,

at home, and in the community. She has dedicated her life to serving the needs of gifted

learners, and has developed curriculum for and taught gifted children in several GT programs

throughout New England. She currently teaches history, history of science, and Italian, and

facilitates online math for gifted students at the Knowlton School (Noble VI). Language Arts

skills are integrated in these subjects; and the level of difficulty is adapted to individual learner
s

needs. The school also has an “open learning center” where students can design their own

projects and access a number of advanced, free online courses.. Kathi writes articles,

consults, and evaluates children for services.
