With the start of 2007, we are initiating a new method of communication that you will hopefully find useful.  The intent is to provide you with timely information through a weekly posting that may include special announcements, Librarian's "Pick of the Week," a weblink that you may find interesting, notable book awards, information on library services...

Each week, a new KHS Library book will be chosen as the "Librarian's Pick of the Week".  These titles will be chosen for their general appeal, exceptional reviews or awards, and/or curriculum links.  Included will be a link to reviews of the titles.  

This week's choice is The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream by Barack Obama.

The American Library Association (ALA) announced the top books and videos for children and young adults...including Caldecott, King, Newbery and Printz awards...on Monday, January 22.
