Old York field trip is next Monday - December 10th.

Here are some important dates

Monday, December 10th - York field trip.  Please have the kids come to school in their "colonial" outfits.  They can bring a snack for the trip.  Lunch will be made by the kids at the tavern, but you want to send along a sandwich for after the trip if your child is a picky eater.

Tuesday, December 18th - Colonial signs and reports are due.

Monday, January 7th - book reports are due.

Social Studies - Colonial Sign and Report - Due December 18th

The kids started to ask if we were going to do anything to celebrate the holidays, and we decided that it would be nice to have a"brunch" on Dec. 21st.  What we would do is have an extended snack time and try to have foods such as fruit, bagels, coffee bread, etc.  For drinks, the kids would like to do hot chocolate and/or juice.  I know this is asking a lot during this busy time of year, but if you are willing to bake anything or send in items the kids would really appreciate it.
