Dear Parents,

As I am sure you have heard by now, thanks to Dylan Putnam’s outstanding essay, the Portland Sea Dogs have generously awarded our class forty tickets to this Saturday’s ballgame.   The weather looks good and the Sea Dogs are playing well, this should be a great day!

We are fortunate that M.S.A.D. # 71 has donated a bus to take the students to the game. Students accompanied by a parent/guardian, may ride the bus to and from the game. The bus will pick up students at Sea Road School at 11:30. The bus will return to Sea Road School at 4:00.

If you would like to reserve a seat on the bus, please email me by this Thursday. If we do not have enough people to warrant taking the bus, then families will need to provide their own transportation to and from the game.

Please note that this is not a school sponsored trip, therefore, each parent/guardian is responsible for their children. If you are not able to attend the game with your child, then it is your responsibility to pair your child up with another parent who will be attending, and please email me these arrangements.

We will be seated in the picnic area.  I will need a list of people who will be attending so that I can submit it to the Sea Dogs by this Thursday afternoon.  Each family will have access to two tickets, and others may be purchased by calling the Sea Dogs ticket office directly.  If you or your child, are unable to attend, please let me know ASAP so that we can get the tickets to someone else.

                                                                                                Sincerely

Cory Steere

Dear Parents,

I am sending home the tickets to the Sea Dogs with the kids today.  As of last count we still have ten tickets available to the game.  Please let me know if anyone may be interested in any extra tickets. These will be handed out on a first-come-first serve basis.  Additionally, because we have had a limited interest in the bus, we will need to cancel the bus and ask that families drive themselves to the game.

The game starts at 1:00, and there is no set time to arrive.  Having said that, meals will be served from one hour prior to the game until one hour after the first pitch and include hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, cole slaw, beans, assorted Coca-Cola products and Sea Dogs Ice Cream Biscuits. (Veggie Burgers are also available upon request).

It should be a great time!  Beautiful weather, a good game to watch, and a free
"all you can eat" lunch – what could be better!

See you all at the ballpark on Saturday,

                                                                                                Sincerely,

                                                                                                Cory Steere
