We had a great first day. Hope everyone received all your papers. Thank you for all the time you spent filling them out. I hope to have them all back by Friday September 7th.

Thanks to all who attended the Open House last night. It was great meeting all of you. For those who could not make it I am sending home the handouts in their folders today.
In Reading we are working on comprehension questions with lots of details, and summaries of chapters. On Monday we will start Unit 2 in Everyday Math. In Step- Up To Writing we are learning how to write interesting topic sentences. We continue to study the ecosytems in science, and to prepare for our first Enrichment Activity. We will be going to the Well Reserve on October 4th.
Please help your child return his homework and books each day. Thanks for all your support.
