Ice Cream Social is tonight at KES... outside if it is not raining!
4:30 to 6:00 Hot dogs and ice cream!
Please be sure to send in your child's picture envelope by Friday am. I must have all the envelopes even if you ar not ordering pictures. Please be sure I have it by the time your child enters school on Friday morning. If possible, send it on Thursday.

Our class will be joining Mrs. Berubes class at Morning Meeting this Monday to perform Tony Chestnut. Morning Meeting takes place every Monday in the gym at 8:25.
We have covered the letters Mm, Ss, Ff, Hh,Tt and Aa so far. This week we are reviewing the sounds for each of these again. We have also worked with the following words: is, this, I, am, my, me. The will be our word for the next few weeks. Next week we will work on the letter Cc.
We will also be starting our construction unit. A letter will go home today about this unit.
Friday a letter will go home with appointment times for conferences. Please be sure to fill it out and return it next week. Conferences will be the first week in December.

Next week will be a short week. Please remember that Wednesday is a half day. We will NOT be having centers as usual on Tuesday so I do not need volunteers that morning, but I could use some help from 1:00pm to about 2:30 that day. If you are able to help please let me know. 
We have been working on our construction unit and the children have had a wonderful time building and discussing the building process. Next week we will be having a draftsman come in to show the class what build plans look like and how they are made.
In case I do not see you, have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
